Fortified gaskets have been manufactured especially for Lambretta engines.

This multipack contains gaskets of each manufactured thickness to allow you to vary use over time and determine which is the most appropriate for your engine.

Nitrile bonded Cork gaskets are high temperature /oil and fuel resistant whilst remaining flexible.

Fortified gaskets are zero calibrated (exact size )

Why change to fortified cork Nitrile  gaskets ?:

Paper gaskets are cheaper but often not fit for purpose particularly on a classic or older engine which has the inherent flaws and leaks of age and wear.  Due to their superior flexibility Cork Nitrile gaskets fill uneven sections that  you may have on your side casing or engine block. Their main benefit is thus the prevention / reduction of oil leaks but this can also help with compression issues.

Fortified gaskets come in three (exact) thicknesses.  For a small drip (or if you want simply to upgrade to a cork gasket from a paper one) we recommend a 1mm gasket.    For a  more regular leak a 1.5mm gasket is available and for severe leakage a 2mm is best.
